This person apparently learned a few Japanese words like "jinrikisha" which means "human-powered vehicle" that is the rickshaw. And the term "Japs" has been around well before World War II.> The card was sent from Yokohama on Feb 13, 1907 and arrived in Northfield, Vermont on March 11, 1907. So it took almost a month for postcards to arrive from Japan. |
