Story and photos by Philbert Ono

When Konishiki's name was called, Akebono burst into tears. Konishiki was a huge inspiration for Akebono.

Sporting a new hairstyle himself, Konishiki helps another person get a new hairstyle.

Konishiki exchanges a few words with Akebono. Maybe they should have placed a mirror in front of Akebono so he can exchange glances with the person cutting his hair.

Akebono wipes away tears as Konishiki leaves. Also notice that Konishiki is wearing a red, white, and blue ribbon to show support for the terrorist attack victims.
